Since 2010, Ken Ferrara has been the Vice president and Executive Director of The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation which supports the mission of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health to expand and improve the health care services in Harford County.
During Ken’s nearly 25 years of fundraising experience he has been involved in raising over $125 million for various capital, endowment and operating projects. Most recently, the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health undertook an historic capital campaign –Hope and Healing Close to Home that looked to establish The Kaufman Cancer Center. Ken’s previous roles include serving as the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem, PA and the Director of Individual Capital Giving and Annual Giving at Loyola University of Maryland.
He is a member of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and has served on the Loyola University Maryland Regional Alumni Board, and is the Vice President of the Harford County Community Foundation.
