UM Harford Memorial Hospital
Boasting a tradition of caring for the community for over a century, University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital (UM HMH) in historic Havre de Grace is a treasure that blends old and new exquisitely. Havre de Grace is a small city on the banks of the Susquehanna River, with beautiful views of the waterfront, tree lined streets, Victorian homes and a lovely sense of community. With a rich history of its own, our hospital is a perfect fit in this community.
We opened our doors in 1910 in a 21-room Victorian home and at that time, the population of Harford County was approximately 29,000. Today, the population stands at nearly 250,000.
